Hi James,
I have placed a .zip archive of textEdit in my Public folder on my
idisk. You can copy this .zip file to your computer, double-click on
it to unzip it then copy the TextEdit app into your applications folder.
to get to my iDisk:
1. go to your finder.
2. Go to the "Go" menu and then down to "iDisk" and over and down to
"Other User's Public Folder".
3. the username is "kilburns".
You're there. Make sure you choose "Other User's Public folder"
otherwise you'll be asked for a password which, of course, I won't
give you.
