VLC Question

Dopes anyone know how to change the default equalizer setting and  
have it stick?  right nw, I have it at just the right setting I like,  
but if I close the program it will goback to Flat, the default, and  
I'll hav e to muck around with it to get it to the one I want.  How  
do I fix this so I'll just say at full bass and treble?
