Hi Tim. Yes, I've been doing that for a while, and they all look right. This is what's puzzling me. Until the security update was downloaded when I set up my Mac last weekend, this was working fine. Now though, my FTP server simply won't allow me to see or access anything on any other volume but where the route folder resides. We've gone over it and over it, but there's nothing wrong with the server config. Everybody is puzzled.

Hi Gordon,

You can also check what the access permissions are on specific volumes by selecting the volume, pressing cmd+i to Get Info on it then navigate to the Ownership and Permissions area. It will tell you what the permissions are, that is, whether someone has "Read", "Read and Write" and so on. In the Deatails area, there is a button you can press that is directly after it lists the owner that will allow you to make changes. Give it a try and if you have problems, let me know.
