Installing leopard

Hi folks,

Does aanyone know how the new operating system will work in tems of 
installation - can we wipe the Mac and then install Leopard instead of 
Tiger, or is it simply and upgrade like Kurwizel 10 for which you needed 
version 9 to be install before hand.
