Hi James,
I sent it directly to your e-mail address. And just in case you're not
aware of it, removing something from the Dock does not delete it. It
just removes an alias. If you really move something to theTrash and
then empty the Trash, it is gone and cannot be used.

did remove it from th doc, but or future reference if i have something
in the doc and it has been deleted can I still use it?
Please feel free to ad me to MSN or Skype if you have them.

James,
I hope you won't be offended by my asking another obvious question but
did you remove it from the Dock or actually delete the file? If you
actually deleted the file I'll send you a copy privately via e-mail.

Unfortunately, i have deleted the trash, as this happened some time

James,
If you have not emptied the Trash, you should just be able to open the
Trash and move Textedit back to the Appplications folder. Also, there
is a multi-level Undo in the Edit menu.
