Well put Scott. I've had plenty of times when e-mails have P--sed me off to no end. Have learned it's best to vent by writing the reaction, but then deleeting it, not sending it first. Anyway, if I did just send them off that grammerand those mispellings you talked, or should I say, wrote about would be a lot worse than I normally do. And yes, I knowjust on my average e-mails both are bad enough, let alone if I'm ticked.

A lot of this in the past days, has just been counter productive. Probably because so much atention has been drawn to it. Flames do draw moths, it's time for us all to take a step back and cool down, including those who haven't writen about these matters. That's their choice, but this kind of stuff does create a lot of unnecesary tensio.

73s. Think there's one more mail waiting about this stuff, will read what it says.

You know I've tried so hard to avoid this entire thread. Hey you know Jane its equally bullshit that you leave. Your contributions like everyone else on this list is equal in value. I personally have no use for all these flames either, but I do know where the delete key is. Point being is that everyone is here to help eachother and learn about the Mac, how to use their Mac as effectively as possible, and the applications on it. It seems some forget that we aren't sitting in the same room so gee, its words, annoying perhaps, but words nevertheless. If folks new to the Mac or are considering the Mac come here to learn, its our duty to educate, but if they see all these pointless flames, they'll just leave and gee maybe we just lost another Mac user and their contribution or worst we might have just chased off a potential Mac convert. I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said before, but exercising restraint is the key. Go on, type your message, get it out, but then read it before you hit the send key and ask yourself is it really worth it. Ok, so we dont' all like this or that person's writing style, so what, I don't like poor grammar or poor spelling, but I know I've seen plenty here and am guilty of it myself, but you know I'm not going to jump on someone for it either. Why? Well because in the greater scheme of things, it simply doesn't matter. So, before you feel its so necessary to start flaming away, think about what I said. Hey so you leave the list, what difference will that make to anyone. I'm not trying to be hurtful, but in the end you take away some knowledge, but you stand to loose even more. I've learned a lot here and I have managed to avoid getting involved in all these pissing contests as best I can. So, can't we just move on and knock off the crap and get back to what is important?
