Wireless Network Protocols

On a wireless router, or for that matter, any router, where is the 
address located?  My son installed a new one, but now we only have 
three computers working--mine, my wife's, and my youngest son.  The 
oldest one doesn't get a signal from his wireless laptop.  So until we 
can get his computer working, I have created a second user account and 
put restrictions on it.  In other words, do not install any software 
unless he okays it with me, and when he is finished, uninstall it.  I 
get so tired of finding spyware on their Windows machines and I told 
him he needs to get his computer fixed so he's not tying up my computer 
time.  Otherwise, I may have to get him a new wireless card.  Richie
