Unfortunately, last time I checked, finereader wasn't accessible due
to the fact that it's a classic application (meant for OS 9 and
earlier). These kinds of applications are not accessible with
voiceover. This is too bad, since finereader is still my favorite OCR
package and the only reason I keep a small windows system around.
Has finereader for the Mac finally been updated (last I checked it
was at 5.0 while the PC version is at 8.0)? Or does anyone know if
there are any plans on apple's part to support classic applications,
if such a thing is even possible?
