Does anyone on this list know if InfoVox iVox reads Appleworks files, either the spreadsheet files, word processing files, or (preferably) both?
Infovox iVox only contains voices. So it does not include a document reader. If you want a document reader you also need VisioVoice (available as part of a bundle). However, while Visiovoice reads, Word, HTML, PDF, Text, RTF, it does not read AppleWorks documents. AppleWorks has a speak function in its word processor part and the Infovox iVox voices will work fine with it. That of course only helps if you use AppleWorks directly. If you want to read the contents of AppleWorks documents without using Apple Works you should probably convert them to, for example, RTF. I believe you can use MacLinkPlus (http://www.dataviz.com/products/maclinkplus/index.html) to convert AppleWorks documents to other document formats.
