If *you* have trouble with ensuring Carbon apps are accessible, and Apple cannot be bothered (iTunes, AppleWorks), it still seems to me the Carbon vs. Cocoa rule of thumb for determining the possibility of accessibility is an extremely useful measure. There are notable exceptions, like KatiePlayer, but they are rather specialized applications! I have asked this before, and gotten no response. Can anyone name a mainstream software product that is Carbon based and compatible with VoiceOver? Can you David?
