What is wasteful? If  a guy wants 2 gb of ram just to check email and play 
solitar, then let him have it. Quit dictating to people what is overkill and 
wasteful. The bandwidth that you use up writing these laughably rediculous 
messages are  more wasteful than the dude who wants a measly 2 gb of ram. 
For god sake.
