As much as we may feel frustrated by all of this, and rightfully so, I do
believe that the fact that VoiceOver is suddenly seeing eight items as unknown
rather than just four scroll areas is a sign that there are things that will
change in the future. Unfortunately, that change most certainly won't come
before Leopard. The other frustrating thing, naturally, is that Apple
notoriously doesn't talk about the future. Like it or not, it's worked for them
all these years and that's the way it'll remain. I'm not criticizing them for
it, that's just the nature of the company. Am I disappointed everytime a new
version of iTunes comes out and we find it's not yet accessible? Sure, of
course. But I do trust that we will see a big change when Leopard comes out.
