Hi Bill,
From what I've read and have seen posted here, the two possibilities have been either January or "spring" of 2007. I have no idea what is true, so perhaps someone else can address the actual release date.

J.P. John, Bill s here. Thanks much for the info. Be most interested to see just what's coming down the pipe VO-wise with lepard, eh? Btw, when
does rumor have it that that will be upon us? Take care.

Hi Bill,
I think the best way is to just drop a note to,
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I don't think there is anyway to get directly in touch with the
boss dude himself. Several people see the accessibility messages,
and if memory serves me right, we've seen messages from an Apple
accessibility person in the past. His name escapes me, however.

Hi Cheryl,
I don't think there have been any significant advances either.
My understanding is that real "steps forward" normally come with
actual upgrades to the OS, but I also would have felt a bit more
comfortable seeing a bit more tangible "progress". As for the
future, coming from years of experience with Windows, yes, I too am
always a bit frightened as to what we will see next. All indications
are that VO will improve, but my concerns, personally, are with the
applications in question. I expect to see them all eventually become
accessible, but the time frame is always a rather iffy deal.

Actually, while I am very pleased with vo overall, I don't feel
that I've seen a lot of progress in the last eighteen months as far
as developments that make a difference in what I do every day. I
frankly also harbor some fears that we may be disappointed to some
extent when leopard comes out but I hope to find those little
gnawing doubts proved to be unfounded. I don't think it's at all
Apple-bashing to make our needs and concerns known along with our
positive comments.

J.P. John, Bill S here.
I'd very much like to make my prais of, as well as the concerns for,
Apples development of VO known to Steve Jobs. Question, is there a
contact
link where I might do this? Your response would be most
appreciated. Take
care.
