Well, if all else fails, it occurs to me that I could take the
computer and scanner to compusa and have them install the software.
I'm sure it would cost and it could only be a one-time thing; I can't
be unplugging my mini and taking it across town on a regular basis
but I might be willing to do it once. But I'm not to that stage yet;
just a last-ditch option. -
