Compusa says if there are no errors on my mini they'll install the  
software and check the scanner for $30; if there are problems there  
would be a flat rate of $100 which would of course buy another  
scanner and then some. But unless another solution is found, I think  
I'll take it in some time this week and let them do it. Will probably  
mean being without my mcomputer for a couple of days and then making  
another trip to get it so not the greatest solution but I'll do it if  
I have to.
