It all depends on her situation. If she is an avid windows user and already has a screen reader for windows, she will do good to just keep updating her windows screen reader every year. If finances are the main problem, then she might get a mac. There is quite a learning curve to master the use of the mac, especially if one has been a full time windows user for years. Hi all,
A friend of mine is going to buy a new computer and she just want to get started with WLan and such. I know it will be me she will ask if something goes wrong. And I thought, why not recommend her a Mac? She wants a laptop so maybe the MacBook is a good choice. I have already showed her the Mac, but she is a little sceptical to it so far. I have told her about the ease of use, no extra drivers to worry about, the security compared to Windows. She is used to Windows. What do you think? I really hope I can get her over to the Mac since I know it will be much easier.
