Hi Christian,
I have noticed this occur on occasion, but I've always attributed it to the website and its design. Some sites go out of their way to only work with Internet Explorer and Safari and other browsers do not "see" the site in the same manner. Someone else, I'm sure, who is better versed with a technical explanation, can explain this better, I'm sure.
