Hello. I'm thinking about purchasing Omni Page for my Mac Mini and I
have a few questions. First, from searching on the web, it seems like
the only version of Omni Page available is the professional version
which is over $400. I know I could purchase the Canon Lide 60 scanner
and get it cheaper, but it seems like people on this list were having
trouble installing that scanner driver. The PC version of Omni Page is
supposed to be 99% accurate. Is the mac version of Omni Page just as
accurate? What happens if you have a page upside down? PC Programs
such as OpenBook tell you if the page is upside down. There doesn't
seem to be a mac driver on the CD that came with my HP Scanjet
scanner. However, when I plug the scanner into the USB port on my Mac
Mini, it is shown in System profiler under USB as a HP Scanjet. Does
this mean that OSX supports this scanner? I figured it did, but I
wanted to make sure before I spent money on Omni Page.
