Ok, it does appear that the conversion to mp3 sometimes doesn't work; I
haven't decided for sure if size is the factor or if something causes it
to cut off just as I have to turn vo off and then back on to ensure
exports to aiff files. I do know that the problem is not that iTunes can't
handle the conversion of certain-size files, as when I use "convert to
mp3" from the advanced menu in itunes, the aiff file is converted. If
anybody has problems using visiovoice to complete an itunes mp3 track,
there are plenty of options. One can simply export to an aiff file and
then use either iTunes or sox wrap to convert the file to mp3. One can
also just go ahead and use cmd-i and then go ahead and use the itunes
menus to convert the aiff file to mp3 if an mp3 file is not made. But if
the aiff file is still on your system, it's a good idea to make sure the
mp3 file actually exists before you delete the aiff file.
