Hi Kevin. The only one of those questions I can answer is the fire question. You can use command left arrow and command right arrow to cycle through message windows.

Hey folks. A series of issues occurred with my PC, which has knocked it offline. So, I am forced to do 99.999 percent of my work on the Mac. I've been getting along for the past few days, and have really learned a great deal since starting my full on Mac trek about a week ago. However, some questions have arisen, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Here goes.

Mail

1. Tracking in the messages table. Sometimes when I hit delete, VO tracks down to the next message in the list. Other times, it doesn't and I have to move the arrow keys to get it to track. Any thoughts? 2. When I sort messages by thread, vo reads the following. "Open Thread. Collapsed disclosure triangle, 3 unread messages, 3 unread messages." Any way for it just to read "Open Thread. 3 unread messages?" 3. I have turned spell check on by default so it spell checks before any message gets sent. Any way to make that spell check window automatically come to the front without me having to access it via the window chooser menu every time?

Safari

1. How do I simulate a control click on a link. Vo Shift M doesn't work on links for some reason. I'm not near my mouse, so can't control mouse click, but if there was a vo keystroke besides the vo shift M, that would rock.

2. How do I turn off the playing of audio files in a browser window? I want them to open in a player so I have transport functions. However, if there are safari transport functions to pause, rewind, stop, etc, I'll be happy with playing audio in a safari window.

fire

1. Is there any key stroke that will bring up the next chat window in the cue? I hate having to go to the window chooser menu every time. I see key strokes for switching to the buddy list, and console windows, but not one to bring up the next message.

VLC

1. VLC does not seem to play songs in their sort order. Any way to correct this so all I have to do is select all the songs in a folder, and it will come up in VLC in that order?

3. When I selected some mp3's, I brought up the menu and selected "Always Open With," and selected VLC. However, mp3's are still wanting to open in iTunes. Any way to tell VLC to open all mp3's and internet streams?

Sorry for all the questions, My and has been forced for the time being, and I want to try and create the same environment that I have on the PC, and these were a few sore spots for me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
