I don't know if this is of amy importance to some of you, but I would like to suggest to developers at Apple, to implement something where, when reading mail or other documents, when the clock announces the time, a built-in pause feature is put in so that VoiceOver is interrupted just long enough to announce the time, then continue reading. From time to time, VoiceOver keeps on reading the document, even when the clock starts to tell the time, but the clock is overshadowed by VoiceOver's continuous reading. Even if it's just a three to five second pause would, in my opinion, be plenty sufficient. I, for instance, have the clock set to announce the time within the quarter hour. As I said, this probably is insignificant of a suggestion, except to say that I would like to know the time and I'm willing to wait three to five seconds, for voiceOver stop reading, long enough for the announcement and then resume its job. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska, just putting the suggestion out there.
