Go to the playlist.
Highlight the songs you wish to delete.
It will ask you if you are sure you want to delete the selected songs
from the playlist. It still keeps them in the library.
Hit return. You are agreeing that it is ok.
You are done.

How do I remove stuff from a playlist?
I wanted to have all of my Christmas Music played, only I
accidentally added two CDs of an audio book into the mix, and I
want to get rid of those. How do I do that/ Do I have to delete
the library and start over, or is there a different way?
