For your word processing nees, you could try Nisus Writer Express. It is
very accessible, but there are one or two little annoyances with it.
Firstly, you cannot use the page view layout which is its default - or
rather you can until you get on to the second page then Voice Over seems
to stop working with it. This is easily fixed by setting the default to
draft view. Also, you cannot use footnotes on the scond page or any other
page apart from the first without some tinkering. This again has
something to do with the page view of Nisus and Voice over.
Also for your audio needs have you considered Audio Hijack Pro, from
what i hear it is extremely accessible, and i am going to try the thirty
day trial version before I commit to buying it.
If you e mail me privately, I am very willing to send you the latest
version of Nisus so that you can see if it suits your needs.
