key command to make the computer announce the time

Hi guys

Do any of you scripting geeks know how to make a script for a key  
command to tell the computer to announce the time?  I was thinking  
that ctrl+option+shift+t would do the trick just fine as T could  
stand for time and voiceover is not using that key press for anything  
anyway.
