Now the Ipod shuffle is a slightly different beast. There is a python-
based hunk of code out there that is no longer maintained, but it
will rebuild the Shuffles database. It can do this because its a very
simple and basic database that someone was able to reverse engineer
and use for their purposes. I use my SHuffle to listen to podcasts.
If someone could figure out how the Ipod Nano or Video's database was
structured and could do the same thing, then we'd not be having this
discussion. WIth the clicks the Ipod can make, you could figure out
where you needed to be to at least get at your content, but using
Itunes on the Mac is a little tricky for moving content to the Ipod.
I am not saying it can't be done, but its not simple.
