one way would be to put in a verification step. touch once to have the contact announced, touch again to activate or if that is not the desired point, touch another an have it confirmed. It iss possible to memorize touch points provided they are not too numerous and or close ttogether.

I think that, based on the conversations on this list, that the iPhone could be made very accessible, but the question remains whether it will or not. I
suggest we contact Apple and let them know our interest.
There's still six months until it is rolled out. That might be enough time
to make a difference.  Maybe not, and i don't hold out high hopes, but I
think we ought to try.  I would love a phone like this if VoiceOver was
included.
