I think a crucial point is being missed here so I'll state the obvious.
Our lives do not hang on who says what or how they say it. People vary in their likes, dislikes, wants and needs. Systems vary in their capabilities as well as people. Top posting is popular among lots of intelligent people for reasons already discussed. If someone wants to investigate top posting, type into your favorite search engine and let's please end this thread?
