Hi James. I haven't tried creating folders within mailboxes, so can't help you on that I'm afraid. As far as differences between mailboxes and smart mailboxes goes, I think that a mailbox is a physical area where messages are moved to, whereas a smart mailbox is like a virtual one just for displaying messages. So for example, if you have all your messages in your inbox and you set a rule to move all the ones from macvisionaries into a different mailbox, they are physically moved there, whereas if you send them to a smart mailbox, they get displayed there but actually physically remain in the inbox. Someone more knowledgeable might be able to correct on this though.

Hi James. I had a similar problem, and found that they would only show up if I created mailboxes from the button itself rather than from the menus. You might have to stop interacting with any message tables and mailboxes etc then VO arrow around until you hear it say 'new mailbox', then press that button. Can't remember if you have to mouse click it to activate or not. Hope this helps somehow.

Hi folks,

Now I can create folders and mailboxes, but when i try to set a specific mailbox in the rules i.e. "MY Groups", the list doesn't show it.

What am i doing wrong?

And what is the difference between a mailbox and a smart mailbox?

Thanks James
