Yes it is and if I could find an oem copy of xp, I'd do the same. I
got one I'm using as a 30-day trial, but no key. In any case, if this
is a shuffle, you can set disk mode in Itunes and once its attached
it will show up as a volume. I do this with my Shuffle now.
