Hi. If you find yourself using the command option p a lot, here's a
neat little tip. If you type this line in to a terminal window, you
can have all those messages converted to plain text automatically.
defaults write com.apple.mail PreferPlainText -bool TRUE
This doesn't convert every message to plain text, but it will work
whenever the command option p works.

Did you use option+command+p to um well bring focus to that part of
the message? This may help. I have found some messages that until I
saved them to a rtf file, I couldn't do anything with them.
If you find a link, you can route the cusor to it by control+option
+shift+f3 and then just click on it.

hi all
i have an e mail which voice over interprets as beeing plain text,
not HTML.
How do i click an embedded link to go to a site listed in these e-
mails?
when i have all cursors tracking, and i move with v.o. key down
arrow to the link, when i interact with the text edit area, click
on it with simulated mouse click does nothing, nor does pressing
enter on the h, of the h t t p part of the link. Unless i can
highlight as i arrow through the link itself, but having never
done this, i don't know how to highlight character by character
when in interaction mode
Hope someone can help
