Hi Will,
I'm not currently using Skype. What exactly is the message you are getting. Is it just a general failure or are you being told that your user name or password is wrong?

Hi Will,
I prefer it over Fire because with iChatter, you can have the messages you type and receive spoken. Fire is nice because all of your contacts are placed in one window, but since I am often doing other things, I like having the messages spoken when received. However, this is personal preference.

Hi Will,
On the jabber.org.au page, there should be an iChat link. I don't recall the format, as I did it a long time ago, but if you have existing MSN contacts, you have to add them using the format provided in the information. New contacts are automatically added in it, but you do manually have to do it for the ones you already have. It does work, as I use MSN fine with iChat and don't bother ever running it on my Piled Crap any more.
