Tim, thanks, I'll try this. I checked and realized that it was still set to one day instead of right away. I'm sure I changed this, but I made tripply sure this time its set that way. We'll see what happens.

It sounds to me like many of you prefer the mail being pulled from the server immediately as some of your other mail clients seem to do. As Anne mentioned, you'll need to go to Mail Preferencews, choose the Accounts tab,, select the specific account you wish to modify, click on the Advanced tab, make sure the Remove Copies from the Server is checked and then change the pop-up menu immediately after that check box to "Right Away". I've found that when it is set to Right Away, items are not left for future download by another computer. Leaving it for one day, one week and so on seems to be unreliable. And yes, you need to do this for each account, that's the way it should be as each account has its own preferences.
