Well doesn't matter if it did. I have teh AirPort Extreme which does have a modem built-in, but can't use it to fax anything,
Oh yeah, I forgot that model, it was sweet. Modem, Lan, Wan, and USB ports. Fax capability would have cost like twelve cents more. Too bad for the lost opportunity, the modem is useless for most folks. Apple should have changed the name with with new square model, it is too confusing to keep straight! The new one does not have the modem, but it adds a few Lan ports and faster wireless possibilities (n). I just replaced a first generation AirPort Base station, hub, and cable modem with a single Linksys box. It was about the same price as the new AirPort Express, but the AirPort would still require the cable modem. Still no network fax capability though!
