There are people in the Anchorage area who use parts they have
purchased from the Apple Store online, to build their own machines.
I've yet to hear of firmware from third-party vendors, except for
Intel, that when you put into a rebuilt Mac, it would work, unless you
are a computer programmer and electrician, and can make it work; I'm
