i guess this may improve in leopard, didn't they hint at maybe having
form navigation, heading navigation etcetera, as in the windows
screenreaders, available in voice over in leopard?

Yes, I think that's fair comment. Incidentally, has anybody
figured out a way to have VO handle same-page links? If so I'd be
interested to know how.

I've not had any problems ddoing what I want on the apple store.
Yes, there are some unlabeled images, but when vo lands on one of
them, I can use vokeys with help to get what I need out of them.

Actually, there are two. http://screenreader.net is quite a good
place to start. I have that right I think. The package is called
Thunder. I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my list. I'm utterly
swamped in work just now which is why I haven't posted to this list
in months. But I'm finding now that I'm doing more on the Mac than
I do in Windows. Incidentally, I've heard some say that the Apple
Store web site isn't accessible. Maybe it's their VO settings or
something, but I found my way around it more esily with VO than
with Windows and popular screen-readers. But that's another issue.

Hi Greg,
There is a windows screen reader called nonvisual desktop which is
free. If this could run than when it becomes fully robust, there
will be no need to buy a screen reader.
