Subject: Buying an album in iTunes.
Well folks, we've finally got it. Access to iTunes. While this breakthrough
will cause me to ultimately go broke and put me out on the street with
nothing but the shirt on my back, I must say that I am completely impressed.
I do, however, have a few questions.
1. How the hell do you buy something once you've found it. I'd like to buy a
spesific album by an artist, but can't figure it out. I've tried control
clicking on the artist name, album, track, where it says 99 cents, etc, but
with no joy.
2. I'd like to have a library on an external drive that I can ultimately
share with my winamp on the PC. iTunes wants to know if it can rename
files and folders and reorganize everything. I currently have everything
organized as a folder for artist, folder for album, and songs in the 2
digit track number space dash song title. Some of my folders are not yet
organized and properly tagged. Will iTunes be smart enough to see this and
reorganize as I want, or will it totally screw things up for my winamp
experience.
3. If I transfer a tune oralbum to my external drive via my windows box, and
later reconnect the drive back on the Mac, will iTunes scan my music folder
for new music upon startup, or do I need to manually add the newly added
artists? Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
