To search for podcasts under iTunes, try the following:

1) from your browser go to the web address:
     http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/advancedSearch?mt=2

2) This should take you to the PowerSearch page for iTunes podcasts

3) Instead of using the iTunes Search window, use tab to go beyond this field
into the Power Search Window. Tab gets you into 3 unlabeled windows that
are Title, Author, and Description. Type any search characters you want
in
any of these fields and carriage return. For example, you can type 'BBC'
in
the description field and get a list of all podcasts with BBC in its
description

4) Use VO keys to navigate into the song menu, click in it, and arrow down
through the
entries. You'll get the individual name, artist, genre, and price fields.
 I haven't
figured out a way to subscribe from here, but you can sample the latest
podcast
     in each of these fields.
