the mac one is great but i would like to browse the podcast directory
if possible so at least having mac and windows will serve some of us
good who for now, get beter access, hats off to apple as they are
only just getting started and come on leopard, but it hink having the
both operating systems for programs like i tunes is good to compare

Yes, jaws 8 doesn't work too well with this version.

Not much luck here. The Mac version is more accessible with
VoiceOver than
the windows version with Jaws8. Might actually be a first...
Way to go Apple! Keep those accessibility improvements coming.

Has anyone tried this using JAWS 8? I have a demo of JAWS 8 and I'm
quite interested in trying this ITunes out to see how accessible it is
with it. Thanks.

I just updated my Windows copy of iTunes to 7.1, and there seems
to be a
marked improvement of accessibility in the Windows version as well.
It's still a long way from great, but there's much less extraneous
text
everywhere, I can tab more consistently through controls, the dialogs
seem to work a bit smoother, etc. Small improvements, but
improvements
nonetheless. I'm rather surprised, honestly. This is using
Window-Eyes
6 as the screen reader, by the way. WE has always worked rather
better
with iTunes than Jaws.
