David and Dan, Although you can't interact with the sliders on the equalizer, you can choose one of the 22 equalizer presets for any of your songs using the "Options" pane after doing a "Get Info" on that song.

As far as I can tell, the EQ is not at all >accessible. For example, if you're playing a song, do a command-l for "show current song" to move your selection to the currently playing song. Use command-i to "Get Info", use command-5 to go to the "Options" pane, Use vo keys + right arrow to navigate to "Equalizer Preset". The next entry gives the presets, so use vo keys + right arrow and interact with the "None, popup button" to reset the equalizer and carriage return to have the setting take effect. You can set each song with a different equalizer preset combination according to type of music or spoken word text. Preset categories are: Acoustic, Bass Booster, Bass Reducer, Classical, Dance, Deep, Electronic, Flat, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Latin, Loudness, Lounge, Piano, Pop, R&B, Rock, Small Speakers, Spoken Word, Treble Booster, Treble Reducer, and Vocal Booster. I think access to the Equalizer presets under the "Options" pane was described in Tim Kilburn's "iTunes with VO" document. HTH Cheers, Esther
