hi all. i've been having this problem using skype version 2.0.5.85. i
don't recall this happening before this version. what happens
sometimes is this. say i've called a windows user on skype. during
the conversation on their end they hear a very loud hissing sound
coming from my end but i never hear it at all. apparently it's a very
painful and loud sound. i have no idea what's going on here. the few
mac users i have on my list have never said anything to me about this
noise. i don't know if it's certain sound cards or what. it's hard to
talk to people when this happens. hanging up and then calling them
back usually solves it for a while, but tonight when i tried this
method the sound returned. does anyone know what's going on? any help
would be great. btw i'm using the internal mic on my imac and the
speakrs that are built in. i also sometimes use headphones also.
