You said: Everything was cranked. It totally soundedlike crap. Many
folks have complained about the audio on those laptops. The best
laptops for audio were the higher end gateways and the conpaq
presarios, which actually had little ports on the bottom which acted
like bass cannons. Gave it some low end that made those laptops
sound more like a tv set than a cell phone. Lolol.
My best response to that is, size matters. You can't have
everything, The MacBook and MacBook Pro are likely the slimmest
laptops on the market. Squish all that hardware into such a thin
unit and you're bound to lose something along the way. If you want
your laptop to sound like a desktop unit, use some external speakers
or use the Airport Express to connect to your stereo for awesome sound.
