Interestingly, you can almost do it via the web from www.mac.com - however if you find your way to the account setup page (not easy since there are unlabeled image links along the way), and then click on the right unlabeled image to get to the credit card setup page, your confronted with a set of radio buttons to choose the card type. These have no title attribute, and no associated HTML label. They have included labels for the sighted folks, but these are images with no altText. The only way you can find out which radio button corresponds to which card type is to look at the HTML source of the page.
So, we have at least two ways to add credit card info to an iTunes account, one via the iTunes interface and one via the web. Both are inaccessible, unless you know how to read HTML source code. Apples, you should know better. This isn't rocket science. -- Rich ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Reeves" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS Xby theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2007 8:18 PM Subject: Re: ITunes - creating account Hey Rich. Unfortunately, you're gonna need a sighted assistant. WhatI did was to have a very, and I mean very trusted friend log onto my account and ask me the questions via telephone and fill everything out for me. It only took like 3 minutes and we were done.
