poudn key on numeric keypad

hi all

i havent yet found the pound or hash key, on the numeric keypad yet.  
star works but if i had to press hash or pound, whilst on a skype out  
call i cant seem tod o it
will
i turned on the numeric keypad all the others work, but not hash
