Slowing down recordings

Hi Scott,

You should take a look at Sample Manager. It is not 100 % accessable  
in all parts yet, but the developers are working on the VoiceOver  
issue. I have found that by using Automator, I am able to do many of  
the tasks that it serves.

Sample Manager will do about 50 different operations in the sequence  
you decide, for example auto extract/strip silence, normalize, change  
pitch, convert rate, change tempo and so on. It is a batch editor, so  
you can do this for thousands of files in one single operation if you  
like, and have the result placed in a different folder.

To get you started, I can share a set of Automator workflows I have  
created - including some for slowing down recordings. Very soon  
however, you should be able to do most operations in Sample Manager  
itself....
