I had a few issues when I tried to use a Boot Camp partition. But I didn't get the issues you seem to be having. Personally though, I dropped Boot Camp completely. I now use Windows entirely under VM. It's more efficient, more flexible because you can file share with Mac partitions, and it's easier to control. If your machine is adequate spec, you might want to think about doing that. I would be happy to help where I can. Fusion has a very easy Windows install routine. What it actually does is generates an unnattended install script and use that. But back to your issues. I am at a bit of a loss as to why your devices may not work. Unless you haven't installed the VMWare tools. I cannot remember whether that process is automatic when you're using a Boot Camp partition. But I found that in any event, there are problems with Windows screen-readers in the dual-config environment. Under XP, DCM doesn't work properly in one or other environment, so it's a little pointless really. That was my primary motivation for ditching Boot Camp. Also, under Fusion, your virtual hard disk is usually dynamic. In other words, you configure the maximum size for your drive and then it grows and shrinks as appropriate depending on what you have stored on it. So for instance; I set my maximum capacity to 160 GB. But I only have 5 GB of data. Thus, my virtual hard disk is 5GB. When I add another 5GB of data, the virtual drive grows to 10 GB. And it shrinks again if I remove the extra data. With a Boot Camp partition, the partition is static. If you set it to 160 GV in size, that's how it stays come what may. So there are lots of things in favour of VM as opposed to Boot Camp.
