Hello Yvonne,

I discovered something about python that may be of interest to you. If you indent with tabs, instead of with spaces, VoiceOver will say "tab" each time that it encounters a tab at the start of a line. So, for example, if you have used two tabs, VO will say tab tab. I don't know if you're still interested in solving the problem of how to keep track of indention, but I thought I'd mention it in case you were. I've found that determining the amount of indention is much faster with tabs than with spaces.

Hi.

To be honest, it hadn't even occurred to me, since generally, programmers seem to have it drummed into their heads that they should *never* use tabs when coding, <grin>.

On the other hand, I know smultron has a tabs to spaces and spaces to tabs converter thingy, so that really *might* be very useful.

Thanks for the note.
