I don't have a problem with *her* post.

It's the first reply to it that I take issue with.

She's obviously new witth her computer; she probably did not get a lot of time to play with one like some of us did. SSo, yes, she is going to have issues. She'll get there, though. None of us is perfect.

It's these sorts of posts that drive me crazy. Some of the info is not even accurate. I've had absolutely no issues using Windows with the Mac keyboard, and in fact don't even use a PC keyboard on my desktop. Some of the keys are in different places. The complaint about the insert key doesn't even make sense. you don't need it under OS/X, and under Windows it is right there with FN+M to get to the numeric keypad, just like a PC laptop.

Part of the problem is that many of the nay sayers don't want to take the time to actually get used to using OS/X. I remember posts like these when people were switching from DOS to Windows 3.1, or from Windows 3.1 to 95. It's a different system than Windows. I'll admit, I found the Finder a little bewildering at first, but after a few weeks of substantial use, I decided it was more to my taste than Windows Explorer, do in large part to Column View.

Grrrr.
