Hi everyone:
Thanks for the suggestions. My new Macbook Pro is sitting next to me on the
desk and is a beautiful machine. Wow!!!
I did find a solution for synching and will post info on how it works after
I play with it a bit. Now, I'm just watching the huge home folder move from
one machine to the other. Time consuming for certain.
I've got to say that I've noticed huge functional improvements from my G5
Power PC Imac to the new Intel model. The Macbook Pro I have is a 2.16GHZ
with 2GB of RAM. No doubt that increased power plays in to what I'm seeing
as my older iMac has 1GB of RAM and the processer is slower. Even still,
Voice Over is much more responsive and the entire machine just works better.

Hi,
All this is well and good for the initial transfer. It does not answer
the question of syncing after. Initially, after the migration, you will
essentially have two identical machines softwarewise including users,
network settings and such. I'm not aware of a syncing process after that
other than those available through .mac. There very well may be but I'm
just not aware of it. You may wish to try the Discussions page at Apple,
there's some real innovative stuff there.
