Hi all
Everyone tells me that MACS don't need anti virus software etc,
well, I have a new MAC desktop, bought it just over a week ago
and being a PC user from way back, I felt uncomfortable not
having anti virus software, so decided I would purchase anti
virus software for my MAC, and everything was fine until today
and whamo you guessed it, it detected a virus. The virus has
now been treated and erradicated and I'm glad I got anti virus
protection, and will continue to use same. I also purchased ant
spyware software, as far as I am now concerned the small purchase
price has already paid off. Just thought you may find it
interesting as I know most perople with MACS don't use anti virus
software believing MACS don't get viruses.
A good website for security issues and software programs is;
www.securemac.com
Cheers
Geraldine
