Ok, well, some more detail. Sorry, I was in a bit of a hurry
yesterday morning, <grin>.
As with IM, I'm not really a very heavy IRC user, and so I didn't
really give coloquy a workout. As someone else has pointed out, the
main reason *I* switched away from it is, well, I'm using an Ibook.
It's a major resource hog. <grin>. But I'm almost certainly running
one of the slower machines on the list, and probably if you had one
of the newer intel macs it wouldn't be such a problem.
